Overview
Amenities: Facilities with water, changing rooms, and restrooms at the Discovery Center trailhead.
Trail Type: Mostly flat, Big River Trail has short rolling hills.

Fee: Daily trail-use suggested donation is $5 adult and $2 child. Annual memberships are available.
Additional Information: Dogs are not permitted on the trails during the winter months.

The Discovery Center Trailhead is located just north of downtown Manitowish Waters on Highway W.
The Tower Road Trailhead is located one mile west of Highway W on Tower Road.
The Discovery Center Trails are open to the public from dawn to dusk year-round. The terrain is gentle and winds through the woods, along Statehouse Lake, across the bog, and near the Manitowish River, allowing you to explore a variety of habitats each with their own unique plants and animals. The Discovery Center offers a variety of public programs year-round. The Nature Nook is open 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday through Saturday and offers opportunities for learning and discovery among visitors of all ages.
