The Escanaba Trails have a wilderness feel as they pass through beautiful Northwoods forests and past pristine lakes. The east trailhead is the primary starting point for most excursions. The west trailhead provides closer access to Pallette Lake. A lean-to shelter with benches and a campfire ring can be reached by all of the trails. An ungroomed connector trail to the nearby Lumberjack Trails can be accessed via the red and blue trails. Be cautious of hills with fast descents and turns at the bottom.
