Amenities: Facilities with restrooms and water.

Trail Type: Crushed limestone road around South Pond, dirt road around North Pond.  Both loops have no elevation change.

Fee: No fee. 

Additional Information: Exercise stations and fishing pier are located around the South Pond. 


The Trailhead is located 0.2 miles west of Highway B on Highway W.  Turn north over the bridge towards the American Legion Post and then left and follow the road/trail 0.3 miles to the trailhead parking lot.


For a casual hike, visit the Pipke Pond Trails in Presque Isle.  The trails encircle two ponds, offer views of the Horsehead and Presque Isle Rivers, and provide access to a fishing pier and exercise stations.  The park is known for its birdwatching opportunities in the summer, and features a skating rink in the winter months.
