Area Silent Sport Groups
Become a supporter of this in-progress silent sport trail system. Volunteers are needed for trail building and maintenance, ski trail grooming, and the creation of a self-sustaining friends group. Vilas Area Silent Sports Association (VASSA)

Mercer Area Cross Country Association (MECCA)
MECCA is a small group of volunteers dedicated to the maintenance and grooming of the MECCA ski trails in Mercer. Meetings are held at 6pm on the first Monday of the month at the cabin. More information can be found at http://www.skimecca.org.
Mercer Loony Paddlers
This womens-only group meets at 8am on Thursdays, May through September for a 3-4 hour paddle on the waters of Iron and Vilas Counties. Contact: Kit Bogenschneider, 715-476-3446
Mercer Mixed Paddlers

Presque Isle Pedalers
A 10-year old organization, the Presque Isle Pedalers have worked to raise money for paved shoulders and bike symbols on Highway W in Presque Isle and are currently focused on connecting Presque Isle with Winchester and Manitowish Waters via bike path. Contact: Al Drum, 715-686-2655
